It has been asked so for future folks who wonder the same thing, Maverick Ministries is not a 501(c) 3 ministry. It is more of a no profit ministry as I do most of my work without compensation and what little money I may make along the way I pay taxes on it. I don't ask for donations and can't give you a tax receipt and thus not bound by the rules applicable to such organizations. I am a private citizen ministering to po' folks. It is truly a faith-based operation.

The good part about this is that I can say what I want about any topic. This ministry is a separate entity and is run solely by myself. It is not supported, sanctioned or anything else by any group or organization. The views and opinions voiced do not represent anyone but me within my 1st Amendment rights and are not necessarily the views and opinions of anyone I may work for, with or near. Indeed, while I approve (at least mostly) with the folks I have links to that does not necessarily mean they approve of me even partly.

That is one of the reasons I have been called a Maverick and why this ministry bears that name.
